Child's Artwork Pillow Keepsake Tutorial

It's handmade gift giving (and making) time for Brad and I right now.   I've temporarily closed my shop so that I can really devote time to making the Holidays extra special for family and friends!

I just love making and giving these "Child's Artwork Keepsake Pillows." What a special way to preserve those precious drawings.  Each one is so unique and really is a joy to make.  The one pictured above is just adorable  with it's "bird's eye view" of this pipe-smoking, shovel wielding snowman.

In this case, I decided to use applique to create this one-of-a-kind keepsake and in the past have chosen embroidery.  The artwork itself usually dictates the methods I use as well as fabric choices.  Here are few other charming pillows that I've had the pleasure to make in the past for my Etsy customers.
